Centrifuge LLC is looking for a skilled and experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure using Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing cloud environments, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-efficiency, while also collaborating with various teams to develop and maintain cloud-based solutions that meet business requirements.

As an AWS Cloud Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in cloud computing, automation, and infrastructure management to drive the design and deployment of reliable, secure, and efficient cloud systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of AWS services, cloud architecture, and best practices, along with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize cloud-based environments.

Required Skills/Experience

Must be a US Citizen
Must have SECRET clearance (or DHS full clearance).
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
At least 8 years or more experience in the field in the related industry.
Advance knowledge and hands-on experience in architecting, implementing, and operationalizing multi-tier production stacks in AWS.
Experience with deploying, testing, and managing enterprise applications in cloud environments including production.
Passionately practices Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, or similar.
Lives and breathes automation pipelines using AWS Code Pipeline, GitLab, or similar.
Strong system administration experience in Linux with fluency in Bash.
Strong understanding of AWS networking services, including VPC, route tables, VPC flow logs, VPC peering, ALB/NLB.
Strong knowledge and understanding of Kubernetes (EKS), Cluster Management, Docker/Containers and how to troubleshoot Kubernetes deployments is required.
Knowledge and hands on experience with programming and infrastructure automation is highly desirable.
Experience securing cloud environments is highly desirable.
Fluent in at least one major programming language such as TypeScript, Java, Python or similar is highly preferred.
Familiarity with different auditing mechanisms/tools within AWS environment and integration with Splunk is preferred.
Possess a minimum of three years of experience designing and implementing security countermeasures to maintain system compliance with DISA STIGs or similar US Government security compliance regime.
