Centrifuge LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Architect to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures that align with business objectives. You will collaborate closely with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to develop data solutions that enable the organization to unlock valuable insights from its data.

As a Senior Data Architect, you will lead the design of end-to-end data systems, manage the data governance framework, and establish best practices for data modeling, integration, and storage. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data architecture principles, cloud technologies, and big data platforms, along with extensive experience in creating data solutions that support both operational and analytical use cases.

Required Skills/Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in data architecture or data engineering with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in designing cloud-native data solutions using AWS.
Proven track record of architecting large-scale, high-performance data solutions and platforms.
Extensive experience working with AWS cloud services (e.g., S3, Redshift, Glue, Kinesis, Lambda, RDS, Athena, EMR).
Cloud Expertise: Advanced knowledge of AWS architecture, cloud security, data storage, processing, and analytics services.
Data Modeling: Strong experience in designing and managing relational and non-relational data models, data warehousing, and data lakes.
ETL/ELT Processes: Experience designing and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS tools and technologies.
SQL & NoSQL Databases: Expertise in relational (e.g., Redshift, RDS) and NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB), as well as data modeling and query optimization.
Establish and manage CI/CD processes for data pipelines, ensuring that AI/ML models and data workflows are automated, tested, and deployed seamlessly.
Design scalable, flexible, and secure data architectures that integrate with AI/ML workflows, ensuring data availability, quality, and consistency.
Big Data Technologies: Familiarity with big data frameworks such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, and distributed computing.
Security & Compliance: Strong knowledge of data security, privacy, and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2).
Data pipeline orchestration, and automation tools.
Problem Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and optimization skills for large-scale data solutions and performance tuning.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Big Data – Specialty).
Experience with serverless architecture (e.g., AWS Lambda, API Gateway).
Knowledge of data integration tools (e.g., AWS Glue, Apache Kafka).
Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) in a cloud environment.
Experience in building real-time data pipelines and applications.
Experience with machine learning architectures and data science workflows.
Knowledge of agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
