Centrifuge LLC is seeking a highly talented and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing the data architecture, pipelines, and systems that empower data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and software engineers, to ensure that our data infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and optimized for performance.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, cloud platforms, and big data technologies to build efficient systems that support the collection, storage, and analysis of large datasets. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of data engineering principles, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for enabling the organization to harness the full potential of its data.

  • Over 10 years of experience in Data Engineering or similar roles, with at least 2 years specializing in AWS cloud technologies.
  • Advanced proficiency in a variety of AWS services, including S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, Kinesis, RDS, Athena, and EC2.
  • Proven hands-on experience in building, optimizing, and maintaining data pipelines (ETL/ELT) using AWS technologies.
  • Expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, with a strong focus on data processing and optimization.
  • In-depth knowledge of SQL and data modeling concepts, with hands-on experience in database design and management.
  • Strong experience with data warehousing solutions and architectures, including Amazon Redshift and Snowflake.
  • Familiarity with big data tools and frameworks such as Spark and Hadoop.
  • Extensive experience in automation, CI/CD pipelines, and data orchestration tools to streamline data workflows and enhance efficiency.
  • Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless technologies is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of data security, privacy standards, and industry best practices for managing sensitive data.
  • Proven ability to work with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and performance tuning to ensure scalability and reliability.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
